Abtisam Mohamed, Cabinet Member for Education and Skills at Sheffield City Council:

“We know that some pupils have not been in school for a long time and appreciate that they or their families may feel worried about going back to school.

“I want to reassure parents and our young people that we are working with our schools to support them to reduce the risks of catching the virus. If anyone has any concerns they should contact their school, as soon as they can.”
